Our story
Fatme Fouani came to Michigan from Lebanon seeking care for her daughter. When times were hardest, community stepped in — a saj oven gifted in kindness became the heart of a home kitchen, then a loyal following built from a family garage. Today, four children work beside her, and the brick-and-mortar on Middlebelt welcomes neighbors who say it smells like their grandmother's house.
“This brought all the blessings.”

Paper-thin saj dough on the dome — zaatar, cheese, lahm bi ajeen, and the classics blistered in seconds.

The same manaeesh spirit through the forno — deeper color, slower bake, smoke-kissed edges.

Morning plates built for sharing — eggs, labneh, olives, and the flavors you grew up with.

Hand-sized pies from the wood oven — perfect for grazing, gifting, or a second round.

Rotating highlights — seasonal toppings, limited runs, and whatever the kitchen is excited about.
Thin crust, leopard spots, and toppings that respect the oven — pizza with the same fire as the manaeesh.

Cardamom coffee, strong tea, cold refreshers — what you want beside the first bite.

House blends and pantry picks to take home — makdous, olives, and more for your own table.

Saj bread is stretched paper-thin across a hot dome — the dough tightens, bubbles, and chars in seconds. It is not generic flatbread: the saj gives manaeesh their snap, their chew, and the scent that pulls you off Middlebelt before you see the sign.
Guests who grew up in Lebanon say it tastes like their grandparents in the south made it.
